More Fighters
We have often said that the core set has the protagonists of the Aerodome storyline, but not any antagonists. Each factions main villains are making an appearance in Volume 2. Ace features pilots from the aggressive force known as the Resurgence featuring the “Red-Tailed Hawk” himself, Konrad Faust.
The Sila Regime includes the villainous pilot that shot down Alice Drummond’s sister, Emilia. Now Alice can seek her revenge against RoxX Markov.
Ash Buchanan, and the members of the Trident squadron, battle relentlessly against members of the frigid Borealis Squadron and their Commander, Victoria Laing.
Jax is back and with determination as the leading favorite for the 1980 Martaga World Championships and is returning to compete again in the Aerodome .
More Battle Cards
This campaign introduces 180 new Battle cards to further explore and customize your favorite fighters. New mechanics such as Dazed and Recover actions add a new twist on the action system. A new keyword also makes an appearance called Aegis: During an Attack action targeting this Fighter marker, ignore the PROFICIENT and PIERCE keywords. This new keyword will certainly provide some help when fighting some strong and proficient opponents.
More Stadiums
We have included a new stadium for each of the four major factions in Aerodome: Rising Horizons. This includes the Battle of Rose Hill, the Skies of Azure, Martaga 1979 and the home arena for the Rising Horizons Aerodome Tournament, the Kuiper Stadium. Each expansion comes with two stadiums and a set of 5 Auxiliary cards to add to your collection.
Teams and Squadrons
With this campaign, we have introduced Teams and Squadrons. Similar to what we have done with Chicago Apex and Indianapolis Wasps, we are giving you a chance to form your own “official” Aerodome team.
We will be shipping these tiers to the person who initiated the pledge, as well as rely on them to provide information for the logo. Consider them your “Captain”.
Future Ideas
Aerodome has endless possibilities for new pilots and cards. But before we do Season 2, we want to launch Aerodome: Zero Horizon - A Co-op adventure where players play out the events leading into the first season of Aerodome. In the campaign, players will not only build and create their own Battle cards but unlock powerful new battle cards and abilities as they fly across the galaxy and fight Eon’s forces. More information will come later this year!
